How much electricity does a Valutech evaporative cooler consume compared to conventional chiller AC?

Valutech evaporative coolers consume approximately 75% to 85% less power than traditional refrigerant-based industrial air conditioning systems. A 30,000 CMH unit (VAS-30) consumes only 3.0 kW per hour while delivering 17,657 CFM of cooled fresh air, whereas cooling a comparable 2,000 sq.ft industrial floor with central DX or chiller AC would demand 15 to 20 kW/hr.

What is the difference between PMSM Gearless HVLS fans and traditional gearbox HVLS fans?

PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) fans feature a direct-drive gearless rotor. Unlike conventional geared motors, PMSM fans have no gearbox oil leaks, zero mechanical friction wear, operate under 40 dB(A) whisper-quiet sound levels, and deliver over 1,00,000 operating hours without periodic mechanical maintenance.

Does Valutech manufacture custom ducting, machine extraction hoods, and turnkey systems?

Yes. In addition to standard OEM equipment, our Bangalore works engineers and fabricates turnkey ventilation systems including GI / MS sheet metal spiral and rectangular ducting, air distribution plenums, volume control dampers, laser/welding fume capture hoods, and wet scrubbers.

What water supply and water pressure are needed for VAS evaporative coolers?

VAS coolers connect to standard 1/2" or 3/4" BSP municipal or borewell water lines with an operating pressure of 1 to 3 bar. Each unit includes a built-in submersible water pump, heavy-duty float valve, and automatic water level sensor with dry-run protection to safeguard the pump.
